For the ‘sequel’ album to 2005’s “The Papercut Chronicles“, Gym Class Heroes came back for round 2 of the style crafted for the band with the first record of this name. This album features several platinum tracks including “Stereo Hearts” feat. Adam Levine (3x platinum single, #1 on Billboard US Pop Songs and covered by the television show GLEE), Life goes on, “The Fighter” feat. Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic (1x Platinum), and “Ass Back Home” feat. Neon Hitch (1x Platinum, #12 on Billboard Hot 100).
I worked with Travie McCoy, the band’s frontman to create album artwork that represents a look back to childhood with photo-based ‘totems’ for each band member. It was also very important that all the covers would line up when placed side by side. The new cover was designed to flow into the old one, and all of the single covers were designed to sit side by side seamlessly.
